Good evening everyone, & welcome to another post of Carson Christian Outreach's #PoetryMonday!
In this week's we are looking at what the bible has to say about wisdom. Specifically, Pastor's poem takes us on a journey through Job Chapter 28, and helps us uncover "true wisdom" and it's dwelling place.
What is "true wisdom"? Knowing there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom, will those who seek wisdom here on earth, ever truly find it? There are so many questions on the topic of wisdom, but let's consider what the bible has to say!

"WHERE MAY WISDOM BE FOUND?"
Job Chapter 28
Where is the place that wisdom dwells,
Job twenty eight and twelve inquires,
For wisdom is the height supreme
To which the soul aspires;
And thus 'tis sought the world around
That place - where wisdom may be found.
It is not mined as earthly ore
As iron, silver, or fine gold
Let man exhaust all hidden depths
It's place remains untold;
Never beneath some hidden mound
Will wisdom's treasures ere be found.
Not in an undiscovered place
As yet unseen by vulture's eye;
Nor path unfound by lion's whelp.
No place finds wisdom nigh.
Search carefully above the ground,
Nowhere theron is wisdom found.
It can't be bought at some exchange.
Jewels, in value, don't compare.
No human eye sees wisdom's place,
No beasts, nor fowls of air.
No earthly place has heard the sound
That "here at last is wisdom found".
Verse twenty-three proclaims the fact
That God alone know's wisdom's place.
He weighed earth's waters and the winds,
His storms give away to grace.
His wonders ever more astound,
He knows where wisdom may be found.
Verse twenty-eight; to man he says-
True wisdom is "to fear the Lord";
To shun the evil, love the good,
And tremble at His word.
In understanding thus abound-
Here only is God's wisdom found.
Your wisdom, Lord, we sorely need
So much the more, these troubled days.
This only can end life's dispair
And gain a life of praise.
To live within that realm, renowned,
Where wisdom, from our God, is found.

Wow! The Word of God is truly amazing! We hope this poem encourages you to truly seek wisdom through God and His word! There are a lot of unanswered questions in this world, that the carnal mind will seek to find on it's own. But the Word tells us, that true wisdom is through God, and will never be found by searching through this earth.
Pastor always tells us to, "Go home and study (the Word) for yourself". So go ahead! Open your bible to Job Chapter 28, and as you begin to study, see what God reveals to you about wisdom!
